The Tuba

Alright before I head off to sleep and perchance to dream, here are some Tubas. Whoever did the VSCO2 one certainly blew his brains out at the highest velocity layer!

The Trombone

Ever notice how different the various bass instruments are? The trumpet, the french horn and the trombone look nothing alike, unlike the strings which just look like differently sized versions of each other. Also the Trombone is a descendant of the Sackbut, aren't you glad the name got changed?

The (French) Horn

On to the brass horn named after the French which is not to be confused with the horn named after the English which is a woodwind and is thinking about succeeding from the rest of the orchestra.

The VSCO2 range is somewhat limited basically losing the upper octave except on the mute which loses the lower end. I have no idea why the samples were released this way. It covers a touch over 2 octaves.

The Harp

I've never known where to put the harp, but the VSCO2 has it with strings so this is as good a place as any I suppose.
